OpenText is looking for a talented and motivated individual to join the team as anexperienced QA /Test Lead, Coordinator with hand-on experience on SFDC
The QA Lead is proficient in Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Test Methodologies and will be primarily responsible for coordinating Integration testing activities (SFDC), test management, requirements and technical specifications reviews, analysis on functionality, creation and hands-on execution of test plans and test scenarios. The QA/Test Lead/ Coordinator will triage test issues while collaborating with other departments during the investigation, reproduction and closure of defects.

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or relevant experience (Required)
  • Relevant Tech SFDC Certifications (Must)

Responsibilities
  • Work closely with IT development, business leads, vendors and product owners to understand full scope of features and pair with developers to advise and build test scripts (functional, integration, end-to-end, regressions, etc.) ensuring code coverage and quality
  • Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
  • Overseeing the administration of all tests, identifying correct test cycles and creating additional cycles where needed
  • Conduct all types of testing for third party software and internally developed applications (e.g., black box, functional, regression, integrations, load, stress, performance)
  • Perform data validation, functionality and deployment process verification
  • Ensure that newly implemented system features, or enhancements meet user needs
  • Participate in meetings, walkthrough and presentations of new features as well as changes to existing functionality
  • Defining correct permissions and group membership for each project member in Octane (based on their role, e.g., PM, tester, authors, test leads)
  • Importing test cycles into Octane:
  • Test cycles defined by the dev team
  • Test cycles from business partners with no access to ALM
  • Setting up test lab& plan
  • Defect management:
  • Ensuring the right priority is assigned to defects
  • Reporting on open/closed defects
  • Defect triaging
  • Closure
  • Ensuring all major defects are closed and sign off is provided
  • Cleanup and closing project in ALM following project closure
