Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

As our Lead QA Engineer, you’ll establish and lead our QA strategy, working directly with our Head of Engineering and cross-functional teams to ensure the quality and reliability of the Maximus platform. This is a key leadership position where you’ll build and manage our QA team while implementing scalable testing processes.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead the development and execution of our QA strategy across our applications
  • Build and manage a high-performing QA team, establishing best practices and mentoring team members
  • Design and implement automated testing frameworks that support our event-sourced architecture
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams during sprint planning to ensure quality is built into our development process
  • Establish quality metrics and reporting mechanisms to track and improve system reliability
  • Ensure testing coverage for HIPAA compliance and healthcare-specific requirements
  • Create and maintain test plans for critical systems including prescription management, lab testing integrations, and payment processing
  • Participate in sprint ceremonies and provide quality-focused input during backlog refinement
