Job title: Lead Quality Engineer

Salary: Up to £55,000 (dependent on skills and experience)

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES:

• Comprehensive understanding and experience of Business/Quality Management Systems
• Strong process mapping skills and experience, with the ability to run workshops and use process mapping software
• Strong communication skills and the ability to present information at all levels of the business
• Understanding and comfortable using SharePoint and Microsoft Office products
• Lead Auditor trained

• To lead on the implementation of the Business Management System (BMS) policy, process and management of the BMS toolset including Nimbus, training and coaching the business on the use of the BMS
• To lead a team of Quality professionals, tasked at driving and delivering Quality management deliverables across the Naval Ships business
• To lead on the development and maintenance of end to end process mapping of the Naval Ships business
• To lead on stakeholder and customer engagement related to the BMS – such as the Process Governance Board, Customer Meetings and Group Quality
• To lead the project to align the Naval Ships BMS with the requirements of the new Corporate Enterprise BMS (GBTEC BIC) which will be deployed in 2026
• Support on Information and Record Management (IRM) on behalf of the Quality Function
• Lead assigned ISO 9001:2015 / AQAP 2110 audits and Quality Investigations
