Job Title: Lead, Quality Engineer Job Code: 29074 Job Location: Londonderry, NH Job Schedule: 1st shift - 9/80: Employees work 9 out of every 14 days- totaling 80 hours worked- and have every other Friday Off   Job Description:   Support and interface with Program Management, Supply Chain, Manufacturing and Engineering personnel to support the establishment and implementation of effective process controls, geared toward risk mitigation.   Essential Functions: Proactively monitor, analyze, report and participate in the improvement of process and product performance employing proven Six Sigma methodologies. Lead failure analysis and drive effective root cause and corrective action efforts using complex problem solving methods to drive the development of technical solutions. Manage projects and/or processes with general supervision, and recommends enhancements to systems and processes. Work to achieve operational targets for specific programs and projects with moderate impact on departmental results. Verify and validate product and processes, confirmation of conformance. Review and verify applicable contractual/customer requirements and ensure these are known and translated, as warranted, into operational plans and test procedures. Participate in the verification, validation and acceptance of proposed product design and process changes. Participate in the review and disposition of nonconforming product. Represents and communicates with the organization when interfacing with Customers and their agents (DCMA) throughout the production phase of their programs. As required, support the training, mentoring and coaching of lab and inspection personnel in the technical requirements of product.   Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.    Preferred Additional Skills: Experience in lean manufacturing and working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems is highly desired. Six Sigma Green Belt is a plus. Proficient in MS Office. Proficient in SQL Minitab or similar statistical software, and Microsoft Visio. Strong statistical skills including 8D, DOE, SPC, PFMEA, and regression analysis.
