Job Description Aid in the implementation, and maintenance of quality systems in compliance with ISO9001, ASME, AS/ISO3834, AS5131 CC3, and other applicable standards. Lead quality deliverables for individual projects, including development of Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), Quality Plans, Weld Procedures, Welder Qualifications, Manufacturer Data Records (MDRs), and project-specific documentation. Drive accreditation processes and ensure ongoing compliance with ASME and ISO systems. Monitor and raise concerns of quality issues in production, supporting corrective and preventive actions (NCR process). Manage and participate in internal, external, and supplier quality audits. Liaise with clients, auditors, and external parties regarding quality requirements and compliance. Support continuous improvement through the application of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and quality-related initiatives. Actively participate in production meetings to provide input on quality considerations. Qualifications Relevant certifications highly regarded: AS 1796 Certificate 10 (Welding Supervisor – Pressure Equipment) AS 2214 Welding Supervisor (Structural Steel) IIW IWI-E / IIW IWI-S CSWIP 3.2 Senior Welding Inspector Degree or Diploma in Mechanical/Quality Engineering (desirable, not essential). 5+ years’ experience in a QA/QC role within a manufacturing environment. Proven knowledge of quality systems and standards: ISO9001, ISO 14001 & ISO 45001, ASME, ISO3834, AS5131 CC3. Internal and external auditing experience/qualifications. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with demonstrated leadership experience. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and computer literacy skills.
