Description

As a Principal R&D Engineer you will design and deliver large, complex portions of the technologies that power our solutions and products. You will build a proven record developing technologies and will build deep technical skills. Work in an agile environment and solve complex problems with speed and creativity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical leadership and guidance in the design, development, and testing of an innovative new navigation system fusing conventional and alternative sensors
  • Mentor and guide a team of R&D engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence
  • Drive innovation by identifying and implementing cutting-edge technologies
  • Lead the ideation, conceptualization, prototyping, and development of the navigation system
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to leverage collective expertise and resources
  • Ensure adherence to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and Honeywell’s quality and safety protocols
  • Evaluate emerging technologies for their applicability to current and future projects
  • Support the transfer of technology from R&D to manufacturing or production teams
  • Identify and assess technical and project-related risks

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.
The annual base salary range for this position is $172,000- $217,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate’s work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
