Schedule: Full Time Shift: Days Location: 120 North Oak Street, Hinsdale, IL 60521 The role you’ll contribute: Responsible for leading assigned staff in performing medical and diagnostic imaging activities or tasks. This position ensures the accurate and efficient completion of imaging procedures. This role involves overseeing the daily operations of the imaging department and maintaining high standards of patient care. In addition, this position provides training and support to staff members. The value you’ll bring to the team: Monitors and supports compliance with departmental policies, radiation safety guidelines, ALARA principles, and regulatory/accreditation standards. Maintains accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR) and PACS systems. Submits high-quality images and documents promptly, ensuring image quality, correct lead markers, and patient data/history. Educates patients about the exam and complete all exams in a timely manner, maintaining workflow and minimizing empty table time. Supports scheduling of personnel to provide adequate coverage during all hours of operation, using flexible staffing when appropriate. Practicing infection control standards and using approved PPE and disinfectant agents. Collaborates with radiologists and other healthcare providers to ensure appropriate imaging and continuity of patient care. Ensures quality in imaging, patient care, and workflow. Oversees quality control testing, equipment maintenance, and troubleshooting. Serves as a resource to department staff and other team members as needed. Performs staff orientation, training, and coaching, and provides input for performance evaluations. Promotes a positive patient experience by ensuring service excellence, effective communication, and the delivery of timely, high-quality care by the team. Leads, organizes, and directs daily radiology department workflow of patients, technologists, and students. Other duties as assigned. The expertise and experience you’ll need to succeed: Associate Preferred Bachelor's Preferred High School Grad or Equiv Required Two or more years of Rad Tech Experience Required American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Required Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) Required Certified Radiographer (CR) Required
