  • This position requires an active Secret or Top Secret security clearance, for which U.S. citizenship is needed by U.S. Government
  • BS with 7+ years of experience, MS with 5+ years of experience, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or related field

Responsibilities

THE ROLE:

The Maritime Domain Applications (MDA) Group is seeking a Radar Signal Processing Engineer to develop advanced sensing concepts utilizing adaptive radar signal processing, resource management, and advanced radar algorithm development, as well as executing advanced sensor concept demonstrations.
A successful candidate will have working knowledge in one or more of the following areas: advanced signal processing, radar systems, RF remote sensing, or resource management; or a strong background in a foundational field for these areas (i.e. – mathematics, physics, etc.). Additional desired skillsets would be the application of AI/ML principals into advanced signal processing algorithms. This position requires skills working as part of multi-disciplinary teams designing and analyzing signal processing algorithms for complex systems. Strong technical, interpersonal, communication, and technical leadership skills are desired.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Develop system concepts and signal processing algorithms for remote sensing
  • Work as part of a small, focused team to architect, develop, implement, and test RF signal processing systems
  • Modeling and Simulation of advanced RF systems, new sensing paradigms, and multi-function RF concepts
