POSITION SUMMARY:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate MRI Radiographer Lead to join our medical imaging team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating MRI scanners to produce high-quality diagnostic images, ensuring patient safety, and supporting accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.

• Operate MRI equipment to acquire diagnostic images in accordance with clinical protocols.
• Prepare and position patients for MRI procedures, ensuring comfort and safety.
• Verify patient identification and confirm examination orders.
• Administer contrast agents when required, following safety protocols.
• Monitor and communicate with patients during scans to ensure they remain calm and still.
• Maintain accurate patient records and complete all necessary documentation.
• Perform quality control checks on imaging equipment and report malfunctions.
• Ensure adherence to MRI safety policies, especially related to the magnetic field.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment in accordance with infection control policies.
