JOB SUMMARY
The Lead Referrals Clerk plays a key role in communicating Nak’azdli Whut’en lands and interests by managing and coordinating the review of referrals related to proposed territorial use. Reporting to the Yinka Huwunline Manager, the Lead Referrals Clerk ensures that all projects, activities, and developments—whether proposed or existing—are assessed in alignment with the Nak’azdli Whut’en Land Stewardship Plan and Referral Matrix. The Lead Referrals Clerk will engage with internal departments, Keyoh Holders, external agencies, and project proponents to ensure meaningful consultation, timely responses, and inclusion of community values.
