Securitas is seeking an experienced and influential Lead Regional EHS Manager to oversee and elevate our Environment, Health & Safety operations across datacenter physical security sites in the EMEA region. This is a high‑impact leadership role responsible for driving safety culture, strengthening risk prevention, and shaping strategic programmes that protect people and enable operational excellence. Job Description What you’ll be doing: Strategic Leadership & Programme Ownership Lead the strategic development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the regional EHS programme across the EMEA datacenter portfolio. Translate global EHS objectives into actionable regional plans, ensuring alignment with company standards and client requirements. Provide strategic direction and thought leadership to embed a proactive, prevention-focused safety culture throughout the organisation. Act as the primary EHS contact for internal stakeholders, senior leadership, and client EHS teams across multiple countries. Team Leadership & People Development Lead, coach, and develop a geographically distributed team of EHS professionals to ensure high performance and consistency across the region. Set clear expectations, oversee workload management, and conduct regular performance conversations. Support team growth by mentoring, providing constructive feedback, and identifying development opportunities. Risk Management, Assessment & Incident Response Conduct and oversee comprehensive risk assessments for new and existing datacenters. Lead or support injury, incident, and near‑miss investigations, ensuring thorough root‑cause analysis and corrective action planning. Monitor regional risk trends and work with operational leaders to implement preventative measures. Provide timely support during safety incidents or emergencies, including occasional evening or weekend response. Compliance, Governance & Policy Management Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, client safety standards, company policies, and audit requirements across the region. Oversee policy governance, ensuring documents remain up to date, fit for purpose, and effectively communicated. Lead internal audits and support external or client-led audits, ensuring findings are addressed through robust action plans. Support standardisation of EHS processes across multiple countries and operational environments. Training, Coaching & Safety Culture Development Collaborate with training teams to support the creation, delivery, and improvement of EHS training programmes. Coach managers and frontline teams to improve safety awareness, behaviours, and ownership. Lead cultural initiatives designed to embed EHS best practice across all levels of the organisation. Facilitate workshops, toolbox talks, and briefings for operational and leadership audiences. Data, Reporting & Continuous Improvement Oversee accurate reporting of incidents, metrics, and EHS performance across the EMEA region. Analyse data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement. Prepare clear, concise EHS reports for senior leadership and client partners. Monitor the effectiveness of EHS initiatives and recommend enhancements based on findings. Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration Build strong relationships with internal operations, HR, training, and quality teams to support joined-up safety management. Partner closely with client EHS teams to ensure alignment, transparency, and collaborative risk management. Represent EHS at leadership meetings, reviews, and client engagements. Travel & Field Support Provide on-site support across EMEA locations, typically involving 30–50% regional travel. Support local teams with inspections, assessments, audits, onboarding, and coaching. Qualifications What you'll need: Minimum Requirements Must be at least 18 years old. Must have reliable communication and reliable transport (public or private). Must be able to speak, read, and write English to a professional standard. Must hold a high school diploma, secondary education equivalent, or GED. Right to Work & Screening Must have the right to work in the UK. Must hold a valid passport or be able to obtain one. Must be willing to complete pre-employment checks, including background screening and drug testing. Must be able to provide a five‑year checkable work history, or provide documentary evidence for any gaps (unemployment, education, self‑employment etc.). Experience Requirements 5–7 years of progressive EHS leadership experience, ideally managing multi‑country programmes. Proven experience leading distributed teams and managing regional programmes. Comfortable presenting to senior leaders and speaking to large audiences. Experience working in high‑risk, fast‑paced operational environments is advantageous. Travel & Availability Able and willing to travel 30–50% of the time across the EMEA region, occasionally at short notice. Willing to work evenings or weekends when responding to safety incidents or emergencies.
