Responsibilities

IN THIS ROLE, YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

  • Providing technical leadership for the assigned project team, guiding personnel in line with project requirements.
  • Analyzing technical data generated by the project, ensuring adherence to engineering policies and procedures.
  • Conducting in-depth analysis of event data related to the project to identify the root cause of unavailability.
  • Ensuring timely communication of significant issues or developments to relevant stakeholders.
  • Actively participating as a presenter or reviewer in technical and program reviews, contributing valuable insights.
  • Collecting field data to support New Product Development (NPI) through similarity analysis.
  • Conducting risk prioritization at the machine, subsystem, and component levels.
  • Performing Failure Mode and Effect Analyses at the component level, identifying critical items for machine availability and proposing improvements for maintenance optimization and/or design modification.
  • Leading Trip reduction projects for specific Customer Service Agreement (CSA) customers or fleet.
  • Analyzing the reliability behavior of accessories to enhance the product line.
  • Managing engineering project by coordinating, as a technical leader, activities of a cross functional team
  • Leading or sustaining Root Cause Analyses on equipment through field experience analysis at site or fleet level.
  • Developing Reliability Block Diagram models based on Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID’s), software analyses, and process/control information.
  • Defining validation plans and measuring the effectiveness of applied corrective actions.
  • Focusing on maintenance optimization of auxiliary systems, determining frequency, tasks, and criticalities to extend the fleet Mean Time Between Maintenance intervals.
  • Interfacing with CSA and NPI project managers to define Scope of Work and schedule for new requests.
  • This role demands a proactive approach and effective collaboration with multiple stakeholders to drive excellence in project execution and reliability enhancement.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL NEED TO:

  • Be able to manage engineering project by coordinating, as a technical leader, activities of a cross functional team.
  • Be able to analyze process and diagnostic alarm, sequence of event, trip logs time series generated at engine’s trip and specific site application software to identify sources of unit’s un-reliability.
  • Be able to manage work that is less defined in scope, understanding and executing business objectives.
  • Be able to identify areas of Growth and to contribute to the strategy of the Services Businesses in the area of auxiliary systems.
  • Show commitment to a guide mindset of Integrity, Quality and HSE.
  • Have proven Engineering degree or related engineering experience (Minimum of 3 years gas turbine design or services/ related technical support experience)
  • Be fluent in Italian and English both written and spoken
  • Be able to understand both Process & Instrumentation Diagrams and layout drawings (piping, equipment, instrumentation, control)
  • Display knowledge of fundamentals of Reliability, Availability and Maintainability Analysis
  • Show remote and Diagnostic Data Analysis Skills
