As Lead Resident Coordinator, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Family Practice Residency Program, supporting both residents and faculty while helping maintain the program’s high standards. This role is ideal for organized, proactive professionals who thrive on project management, collaboration, and making a real impact. Success in this role requires strong administrative, communication, and organizational skills. Priority consideration will be given to applicants with Graduate Medical Education experience. What you’ll do Collect and submit accreditation data, tracking scholarly activities, rotations, and program metrics. Coordinate resident onboarding and offboarding each fiscal year, including off-site rotations and system access. Oversee and manage resident scheduling, ensuring accurate rotation assignments and alignment with program requirements. Maintain compliance with licensing, duty hours, credentialing, and temporary permits. Manage administrative workflows, ensuring the program runs efficiently and meets accreditation requirements. Duties: Lead Resident Coordinator Coordinate the educational functions of the Family Practice Residency Program, which is necessary for the efficient operation of the training program and ensures quality education for the Family Practice residents. Ensure compliance with RRC, ACGME, Joint Commission, guidelines, Medical Staff by-laws, rules and regulations as well as local state and federal regulations pertaining to the residency program. Required Qualifications: • High school education or equivalent required. • Associate's degree OR equivalent combination of education/experience combined (one year of education equals one year of experience) required. • Minimum of four years experience using computer and word processing, database and spreadsheet knowledge (e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.) required. • Knowledge of computer, word processing, data base and spreadsheet knowledge (e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.) required. • Demonstrates exceptional communication and organizational skills, both written and verbal; including correct use of grammar, spelling and punctuation required. • Self-directed and able to carry out job responsibilities with little or no direction required. • Demonstrate organizational and communication skills required. • Strong interpersonal skills and human resource management skills required. • Knowledge of business correspondence formats and a clear distinct speaking voice required. • Professional and courteous decorum required. Preferred Qualifications: • Business experience in an office management position preferably in a health care environment preferred. • Experience with the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) preferred. • Experience in medical licensure preferred. • Knowledge of post-graduate medical education preferred.
