OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Electrician to join our Residential team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in both residential and commercial electrical work, demonstrating expertise in various electrical systems and components. This role involves overseeing projects, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and mentoring junior electricians. The Lead Electrician will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality electrical installations and renovations on construction sites. Experience in commercial a plus but not required.

EXPERIENCE

• Proven experience as a residential electrician is required.
• Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is preferred.
• Strong understanding of high voltage and low voltage systems.
• Experience working on construction sites with a focus on new construction and renovation projects is essential.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical documents related to electrical work.
• Background in other trades or maintenance experience is a plus.

• Supervise and coordinate the work of electricians on-site, ensuring adherence to project timelines and safety protocols.
• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, including high voltage, low voltage, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute electrical installations accurately.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various electrical tasks.
• Conduct troubleshooting and diagnostics using an ohmmeter and other testing equipment to identify issues in electrical systems.
• Ensure compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) during all installations and repairs.
• Collaborate with construction teams to integrate electrical systems into new construction and renovation projects.
• Provide training and mentorship to junior electricians, fostering a culture of safety and continuous learning.
