We now have an exciting opportunity available for a Lead – Risk and Assurance to join us in our Operations Strategy & Integration team in Brisbane on a full time permanent basis. Reporting to the Head of Risk and Resilience, you will play a key role in establishing and embedding frameworks and governance mechanisms for assurance across Operations. Key Responsibilities Establish governance frameworks and mechanisms to ensure Operation’s assurance activities are carried out in compliance with best practice, regulatory requirements and industry standards. Monitor the performance of these assurance activities and implement improvements as necessary. Perform line 2 assurance reviews where required Own, maintain and oversee execution of the Operations Assurance Plan. Collaborating with Group Risk and Internal audit to improve assurance systems, processes and controls for the benefit of business stakeholders. Keep up-to-date with changes in industry standards and best practices. Lead or support risk management activities and framework maturity uplift as needed. Your background Strong knowledge of assurance principles and risk management Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Strong communication skills to coordinate these activities effectively.
