MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Expert in Permanent Control or Risk Management
  2. Advanced knowledge of incident management procedures, policies, standards and principles
  3. Expert knowledge of workflow tools, risk management systems and reporting sources
  4. High capacity for advanced analysis, research and synthesis of causal patterns across disparate businesses, functions and geographies
  5. Exceptional communication skills and ability to manage and influence senior stakeholders
  6. Ability to build networking working relationships with various stakeholders across first and second lines of defense

Responsibilities
  1. Implements Group policy related to Operational Permanent Control (OPC) Framework Incident Management - events (internal or external) that have, or could have, resulted in a loss, gain or opportunity cost.
  2. Ensures the efficacy of Incident Management Lifecycle by effecting the collaboration of 1LOD OPC Officers, covering
    Investigation - an examination of the details, causes and impact of an incident, considering the effect across all businesses and functions across the Bank.
    Analysis an in-depth study of the root cause of an event
    Action plan - a remediation approach to permanently address short and long-term causes Follow up incorporating recommendations from business and independent reviewers Closure reviewing the quality of evidence proposed to close an incident action plan Escalation - propose mitigation actions relating to gaps, risks and delays to senior management.
  3. Develops, collects, monitors, analyzes, reports and presents incident trends to committees (weekly and ad hoc) tackling incidents, supporting management’s understanding of causal patterns and advising on how to prevent
  4. Provides awareness and training to participants in the incident management lifecycle
  5. Executes and identifies continuous improvement opportunities to raise the quality of incident management.
