ABOUT YOU:
We’re looking for a professional, proactive and motivated individual with a strong team ethic.
Communicative, organised, flexible and committed, you must also have:
- An understanding of geotechnical site investigation
- Past experience as a Lead Driller in geotechnical site investigation
- Experience using different rotary drilling methodologies
- NVQ Level 2 Land Drilling
- Full Clean UK Diving License (Cat BE License desirable)

Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Regional Rig Coordinator, the successful applicant will be based from the Glasgow Office and will be joining a progressive and enthusiastic team of staff, delivering ground investigation and geotechnical services to our wide ranging client base, principally in Scotland but across the UK if required.
The Lead Driller will primarily be responsible for following detailed site instruction, safely setting up and advancing boreholes, retrieving rock core, carrying out in-situ testing, installing monitoring wells and backfilling boreholes in accordance with the specification provided by the Client.
