  • Expertise in Ruby development, including scaling, performance optimization, and system architecture
  • Background in databases, software architecture, and building scalable systems
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide a team

Responsibilities
  • Lead the design, development, and scaling of APIs and services for payment and checkout solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product owners, designers, and external partners, to deliver innovative payment integrations
  • Provide on-call support (2 weeks every 2 months) to ensure platform reliability
  • Provide expert guidance on Ruby development, setting coding standards and driving best practices
  • Offer technical mentorship and leadership to other engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation
