We are supporting a leading digital transformation consultancy with an urgent requirement for a Lead Salesforce Functional Consultant on a complex program within the life sciences sector.

The program is approaching its final phase before User Acceptance Testing and requires an experienced consultant who can quickly understand the existing Salesforce environment, identify gaps and help bring the project back on track.

This is a senior, hands-on position for someone comfortable operating in a fast-paced delivery environment. You will lead requirements discussions, work closely with business and technical stakeholders, and translate complex business needs into practical Salesforce solutions across Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.

Key responsibilities

• Lead requirements-gathering sessions and customer workshops.
• Translate complex business requirements into clear delivery requirements and Salesforce solutions.
• Review the existing implementation and identify functional gaps, risks and areas requiring correction.
• Design scalable solutions across Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
• Complete hands-on Salesforce configuration where required.
• Work closely with business stakeholders, developers, architects and project leadership.
• Support the program through UAT preparation and the final stages of delivery.
• Take ownership of urgent functional and delivery issues affecting project progress.
• Provide senior-level guidance and maintain clear communication across the program.
• Ensure solutions align with the client’s complex processes, data model and system flows.

Essential experience

• Strong experience as a Senior or Lead Salesforce Functional Consultant.
• Extensive experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
• Proven ability to lead requirements-gathering sessions and customer workshops.
• Strong hands-on Salesforce configuration experience.
• Experience translating business needs into practical delivery plans and solutions.
• Strong Salesforce solution design capabilities.
• Experience assessing an existing implementation and recommending corrective action.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership in a demanding delivery environment.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Availability to start immediately.
