JOB TITLE: Lead SCL Network Optimization Engineer
LOCATION: 2100 Lake Park Blvd, Richardson TX 75080

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Engineering Management, Supply Chain Logistics, Data Analysis/Science or a related field, and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or as a Business Systems Analyst, Material Specialist, Project Engineer, or in a related/similar position.
• Experience therein to include 5 years involving the following:
• Data Query and Analysis using MS Excel, VBA, SQL, MS Access, Alteryx, and Python;
• Workflow Automation Software (Ex. Zflow);
• Network Design and Modeling Software including LogicNet, OptiLogic and Llamasoft;
• SAP including ECC, APO, EWM; and SQL.
• In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience, employer will accept a Master’s or foreign equivalent degree in the fields stated above and 2 years of experience in the above skill sets.
• Also requires Lean Six Sigma green belt Certification. Requires domestic travel (up to 25%).

• Create baseline model of distribution network (current state).
• Create 5Y and 10Y scenarios based on projected growth or forecasted sales.
• Supervise and manage a team.
• Currently working on a project to optimize distribution network and increase Lennox’s growth by setting up more than 1.5M SFT new factory distribution centers across North America. Played a key role in recent Joint venture project to identify the distribution locations, volume, costs and space requirements using analytical tools (SQL, Python, IBM LogicNet, Optilogic, MS Excel, Power BI etc.) and business knowledge to attain maximum service levels.
• Identify opportunities for network optimization by running greenfield/brownfield analysis on a periodical basis and evaluate potential scenarios for network changes.
• Calculate warehouse space requirements, perform cost to benefit analysis and provide strategic recommendations to leadership.
• Serve as a mentor for new industrial engineers on network design process and tools.
• Lead the design and implementation of workflow automation solutions that streamline key SCL business processes and integrate with ERP systems (SAP, EWM).
• Serve as an subject matter expert on ERP integration and collaboration tools.
• Oversee the SCL Lean Six Sigma (LSS) Program and serve as a mentor for LSS projects.
• Lead and oversee team of supply chain network designers and business systems analyst.
• Organize, prioritize and assign projects and tasks to meet deadlines or changing business needs.
• Provide direction for strategic network changes and operational improvements.
• Motivate, coach and mentor direct reports.
• Seek necessary tools or resources to continuously improve team’s performance and work quality.
