This position works Monday- Friday, 7:30am - 4:30pm with occasional weekends as needed. This is a hybrid position with some remote work flexibility. Purpose: Lead, plan, execute complex supply chain and enterprise initiatives/projects for Peoplesoft with a focus on Supply Chain modules such as Purchasing, Inventory and Warehouse Management, Accounts Payable, eProcurement, Expenses, and Payment Request. Responsibilities: Troubleshoot issues and propose feasible solutions and follow through to resolution. Assist with guiding, developing and knowledge transfer of junior team members Collaborate with technical development teams and coordinate work efforts when addressing new implementations, functionality enhancements, application updates and performance issues Deploy innovative solutions for both supply chain applications and business processes. Investigate system configuration options to provide functional expertise when developing solutions to meet business requirements; Identify and recommend the use of standard/delivered functionality to meet business needs whenever possible Lead the design, build and implementation of business system solutions, utilizing PeopleSoft, to solve complex business requirements Identify, document and/or execute aspects of the following: Define Current State Processes, Document Business Requirements, Define Future State Solutions, Develop Functional Specifications, Perform System Configuration, Develop and Execute Test Plans and Test Scripts Serve as lead resource for dealing with challenging system or business issues and facilitate group discussion/resolution as necessary. Develop robust documentation for system processes, gap analysis and risk plans. Act as a liaison between the business and IT communities to help bridge the gap between business problems and technology solutions Lead system upgrade and implementation activities. Assure the quality of a completed technical solution is consistent with documented client needs via unit and application testing. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Science or related field required; Master's degree preferred. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education and experience (including military service) may be considered. Eight years Supply Chain Information System experience required; experience with a complex ERP such as PeopleSoft, Oracle EBS, Edwards required Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances: UPMC is an Equal Opportunity Employer/Disability/Veteran
