Learn more at experianplc.com. Job Description Key Responsibilities: Lead the design and development of scalable test automation frameworks for AWS, RESTful APIs. Minimum 2 years of AWS experience Automation-only role (no manual testing) Strong expertise in Python Hands‑on experience with Selenium, Cucumber, and/or Playwright Define and drive end-to-end test strategies, including functional, integration, regression, performance, and security testing. Collaborate with engineering, product, and DevOps teams to ensure quality is embedded throughout the SDLC. Mentor and guide a team of SDETs and QA engineers, conducting code reviews and promoting best practices. Own the integration of automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and ensure fast, reliable feedback loops. Exposure to performance testing tools like Locust, Gatling, or k6. Analyze test results, identify trends, and proactively address quality risks. Champion the use of modern testing tools, techniques, and metrics to continuously improve test coverage and efficiency. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field 8 to 10 years of experience in software testing and automation, with at least 2 years in a leadership role. Strong programming skills in Python. Expertise in API testing tools such as RestAssured, Postman, Karate, or Pact. Experience with test frameworks like PyTest , JUnit, TestNG. Deep understanding of API protocols, authentication mechanisms, and security best practices. Proven experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps). Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and AWS services Excellent communication and leadership skills. Minimum 2-3 years in technical leadership or test lead role managing test teams or cross functional squads. Proven track record in delivering quality for large-scale, cloud-native systems. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to deliver to influence decision-making at all levels. Passion for driving a quality mindset, continuous improvement, and engineering excellence. Experience with contract testing, service virtualization, and mocking frameworks. Knowledge of observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK). Background in microservices architecture and event-driven systems. Experience in Agile/Scrum environments and DevOps culture.
