JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Server/Trainer to join our team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food service and hospitality, with the ability to deliver exceptional customer service while training new staff members. QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience in a fine dining or nightclub setting is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of food handling, preparation, sanitation, and safety protocols.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment.
  • Proven sales skills with experience in upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction.
  • Familiarity with POS systems (Aloha POS, Micros POS) is highly desirable.
  • Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
  • Strong communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
  • Experience as a host/host or in bussing roles is a plus.

  • Train new servers on restaurant procedures, menu items, and customer service best practices.
  • Utilize Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable systems for order entry and management.
  • Implement upselling techniques to enhance guest experience and increase sales.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations.
  • Assist in food preparation and handling as needed, ensuring quality control of all dishes served.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest concerns promptly.
  • Manage cash handling procedures accurately during shifts, including basic math for transactions.
  • Foster positive guest relations by addressing inquiries or complaints professionally and efficiently.
