Job Description Summary

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 12+ years of hardware engineering experience
  • Bachelor’s or higher in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
  • Experience with x86 Intel server architecture and/or GPU Nvidia Arm based technology
  • Experience with server, storage or GPU design/development
  • Customer engagement experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with OCP based hardware
  • Customer engagement experience
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills and ability to work with global teams.
  • Experience working with hyperscale customers

Responsibilities
  • Stay current on Intel x86, AMD, Nvidia, FPGA, and ARM based technology roadmaps and understand how this technology can drive future datacenter architecture for industry and worldwide top public cloud customers.
  • Lead the Hyperscale development team to design and develop Server Motherboard architectures from concept to production, ensuring adherence to performance, reliability, and cost targets.
  • Focus on thermal management, power efficiency, and performance enhancements for GPU servers and optimize GPU configurations for maximum throughput and reliability.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including hardware engineers, firmware developers, and product managers to align motherboard designs with system requirements and project timelines. Communicate technical concepts and project updates effectively.
  • Lead engagement with suppliers and partners of hardware building blocks such as storage devices, network controllers, FPGAs, and other emerging technology hardware devices.
  • Utilize advanced debugging techniques and tools to identify and resolve hardware and software issues during development and post-production phases. Conduct root cause analysis and implement effective solutions.
  • Create specifications and collateral that define the next generation hyperscale platforms.
