JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server/Trainer to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. This role combines the responsibilities of serving guests with the vital task of training new staff members. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food service and hospitality, demonstrating exceptional customer service skills while ensuring adherence to food safety and sanitation standards.

EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or fine dining setting is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable systems is advantageous.
  • Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation techniques is a plus.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service excellence.
  • Experience in sales or upselling techniques within the food industry is desirable.

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and ensuring proper sanitation practices.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, including basic math for processing payments.
  • Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly, maintaining excellent guest relations at all times.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures.
