Description

A fantastic opportunity has become available at Cadog Homecare Ltd, we are looking for a Lead Service Coordinator to join our expanding team covering Carmarthenshire and Ceredigion based in our Ammanford Office.
Salary £28,000 per annum + weekend payment for on call duties & community hours will also be paid as an hourly rate.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous skills working in the care sector
  • NVQ or QCF 3
  • Hard working
  • Good knowledge of local area
  • Excellent IT and organisation skills#

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

  • Scheduling care workers rotas
  • Identifying recruitment needs
  • 9 - 5 office hours – with an element of community work required if there is a high level of sickness or annual leave
  • Working with other members of the team to ensure a high quality of service is provided to our clients.
  • Managing the day-to-day running of the branch when the Care Manager is not in branch
  • Working in collaboration with the Care Manager and People Manager
  • Ensuring that Service Users files are complete and up to date
  • Delegating tasks to the Team Leaders such as audits
  • Assisting in the management of staff
  • Taking and holding staff meetings
  • Meeting new care packages
  • Attending Service User reviews
  • Assisting in the disciplinary and investigation procedure
  • Ensure that all members of the team are carrying out their necessary training
  • Carrying out supervisions and spot checks
  • Ensuring that the service provided is of the highest standard and maintained at this standard at all times
  • Ensuring that our service complies with CIW requirements
  • Providing care as and when required in the community
  • Take part in the on call rota on a rotational basis
  • Be able to use Electronic Monitoring systems
  • Care Plan writing
