SHEET METAL FABRICATOR JOB SUMMARY:

A leading Prototype & Production Manufacturing Company, specializing in CNC and Sheet Metal work is looking for a Sheet Metal Fabricator to join their team.
Please, Do not apply unless you have at least, 5 years experience working in a manufacturing company specializing in making parts for various industries such as automotive.
The ideal candidate has completed a training program through an industry apprenticeship or has at least 5 years of manufacturing experience in a machine shop. Knowledge of welding (MIG & TIG) a plus.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in metal working
• Read and interpret simple and complex engineering prints
• Must be able to read Calipers, Micrometers and other various measuring equipment
• Must have extensive experience using Press Breaks, Hydraulic and Mechanical Presses, and other metal forming and stamping equipment
• Strong understanding of Basic Shop Math
• Experience deburring parts with deburring tools, grinders, etc.
• High level of organization and discipline
• Desire to continually learn and develop technical skills
• Strong mechanical skill and aptitude
• Quality and accuracy focused
• Must have own tools

DESIRED SKILLS:

• Welding of ferrous and non-ferrous metals with MIG & TIG welding machines
• Spot Welding knowledge
• Operating a Manual Mill and Lathe
