WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We are looking for a dedicated, self-motivated lead shipper/receiver who pays attention to detail and is able to give direction. Responsibilities
  • Prioritize and plan on a day-to-day, week-to-week basis.
  • Warehouse inventory management, FIFO, and keeping stock organized.
  • Booking couriers for foodservice and retail customers, ensuring orders are picked in a timely fashion.
  • Support with troubleshooting supply chain challenges and customer complaints.
  • Follow-up checks for accuracy and consistency on all outbound shipments.
  • Pick, pack, and verification checks on all food service, retail, and e-comm orders.
  • Hold the shipper(s) accountable for accuracy.
  • Fulfillments/invoicing in Netsuite.
  • Keep roasting and production teams up-to-date on any backordered or will-need items.
  • Support the roasting and production teams as required.
  • Ensure all delivery requirements/logistics for each customer are followed.
  • Process orders and ensure inventory levels are updated in inventory software.
  • Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the shipping/receiving and warehouse areas, ensuring compliance with quality assurance and Worksafe standards.
  • Weekly inventory of warehouse supplies.
  • Visually inspect suppliers dropping off or picking up orders to ensure safety in the shipping/receiving area.
  • Maintain records and checklists; file paperwork.
  • Plan and organize pick-ups with various carriers based on requested delivery dates.
  • Occasionally contribute to roasting or packaging efforts depending on production needs.
