QUALIFICATIONS:

• Knowledge of basic teaching methods and procedures. Knowledge of instructional materials and their uses.
• Knowledge of efective student management techniques. Knowledge of current offce practices and procedures.
• Ability to enjoy interaction with and effectively supervise students requiring use of both empathetic and disciplinarian approaches.
• Ability to instruct a wide variety of students in a number of different situations. Ability to operate basic once and audio-visual equipment.
• Ability to accurately perform alphabetizing, record-keeping and filing procedures. Ability to abide by confidentiality rights of students and parents.
• Ability to work independently with a minimum of supervision. Ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
• Ability to apply school district rules, regulations, policies and practices in a fair, consistent manner.
  Education/Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and experience in working with children and/or young adolescents; ability to meet the requirements of the Every Student Succeeds

North Wasco County School District is pleased to announce that we are seeking qualifed applicants for the position of Lead After School Program Coordinator for the After School Program (PT). This position will work from 2:00-5:30 PM, Monday - Thursday (potentially Friday’s). We are very proud of our District and the teachers, administrators, and support staff that provides the best education possible for the children of our community. The Elementary program will provide services to students after school until 5:00 or 5:30 on many student contact days. Assignment times for Lead Coordinators will vary based on program needs. This position does not hold any staff supervisory responsibilities.
