We are dedicated to partnering with individuals, families, and communities to improve the lives of patients through the delivery of high-quality, specialty behavioral health services. Position Summary: Ensures that the daily operations of the Social Services are patient-centered and efficient. Secures data for submission to director as directed for performance improvement activities. Ensures that social services that are in adherence to established policies and procedures. Demonstrates a coaching model to assist in the development of subordinates. Maintains a caseload by providing patient care as outlined in the Social Service Staff job description when necessary to fulfill the responsibilities of the department. Participates in the weekend rotation and provides coverage for absences. Qualifications Education: Master’s Degree in Social Work Experience: Three years program and/or service management experience working with clinical multidisciplinary teams. Five years social work experience with at least one-year experience working with behavioral health population s in an acute care setting. Clinical training in evidence-based training. Certifications/Licenses: Full clinical licensure preferred. Licensure, as determined by State, required to complete the essential job functions of the position. CPR/CPI Certified per policy.
Responsibilities
The Lead Social Services Coordinator ensures that daily operations of social services are patient-centered and efficient while maintaining a caseload. They also participate in performance improvement activities and provide coverage for absences.
