We are looking for an experienced and proactive Lead Software Developer to join our team in Eindhoven, Netherlands. In this role, you will provide guidance and expertise to enhance the availability, performance and stability of the Azure platform. As a key member of the Cloud Center of Excellence (CCoE), you will support our client’s growth by building innovative cloud solutions and enabling their sustainable adoption while mitigating risks.

As a Lead Software Developer , you will manage the balance between service reliability, platform development and delivery speed, while supporting skilled Cloud Engineers in building software delivery pipelines, deploying and monitoring services, responding to alerts and learning from incidents.

REQUIREMENTS

• 8+ years of experience as a C# Developer with the ability to write complex PowerShell scripts
• Expertise in API development for Azure Cloud, including YAML pipelines, ARM and Bicep
• Strong knowledge of Azure Networking, including DNS, Firewalls, Load Balancers, VNet, NSGs and IP range management
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Azure Cloud, including familiarity with YAML, ARM templates and Bicep
• A good understanding of cloud operations, with the ability to quickly address any networking knowledge gaps through strong programming skills
• Knowledge of SAFe methodologies, including PI Planning and Agile working models
• Ability to work proactively while demonstrating creativity and a passion for driving technology solutions
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills to effectively present and discuss solutions while guiding team members
• Ability to deliver high-quality advisory services through a strong understanding of complex stakeholder needs
• Detailed-oriented with excellent documentation skills and the ability to operate with minimal supervision
• Strong teamwork skills combined with the ability to work independently when necessary
• Ability to work 2 days per week in the office

• Develop API and network solutions using C#, PowerShell, JSON and YAML
• Design high-quality, scalable and secure network products and services for the Azure platform
• Provide expertise in cloud architecture for infrastructure and application environments within Azure
• Collaborate with the Azure Platform team to build new platform network capabilities
• Create automation solutions using tools such as Azure DevOps and GitHub
• Perform operational tasks using cloud-native tools like Log Analytics, Azure Monitor and Azure Security Center
• Ensure implementations are in alignment with architecture designs while integrating security and reliability into all solutions
• Work flexible hours to collaborate with global teams in North America and Asia, as needed
• Participate in on-call rotations to support the Azure platform outside of regular office hours
