ABOUT UPLION

UpLion is our brand-new global load-balancing, CDN and security platform—built from the ground up to rival Cloudflare’s core features. You’ll own its architecture, lead development and help spin it out into its own standalone business.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Extensive software development experience, including at least 2 years as a lead developer or architect.
• Strong expertise in Go and Python.
• Familiarity with JavaScript, React, Node.js, or Java is a plus.
• Solid understanding of software architecture, cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure), and Agile methodologies.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.

ROLE OVERVIEW

As Lead Developer, you’ll guide the technical direction, development, and launch of our new software project. This role provides significant autonomy, technical leadership, and close collaboration with product and design teams to create scalable, impactful software solutions.

• Lead software development from architecture and design to coding, testing, and deployment.
• Drive architectural decisions and technical strategies aligned with our business vision.
• Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing development team.
• Work closely with product managers, designers, and company leadership to translate ideas into robust technical solutions.
• Conduct regular code reviews to maintain high standards for code quality and reliability.
• Troubleshoot complex issues and provide efficient solutions.
• Keep current with emerging technologies and integrate relevant innovations.
