At the same time, we are modernizing our existing ERP landscape and gradually developing it into a more flexible, integrated, and future-proof platform. You combine technical architectural understanding, practical development experience, and enthusiasm for new technologies with the ability to inspire people to embrace change.

What to expect

• Together with the team, you will develop and establish modern AI-supported development processes. This includes vibe coding, the use of coding agents, structured work with context and project guidelines, and the use of AI for analysis, implementation, testing, documentation, and refactoring.
• In this role, you define standards and guidelines for the safe and effective use of AI in engineering. You test new tools, evaluate them pragmatically, and help the team develop a robust, shared way of working from individual experiments.
• In parallel, you will work on modernizing our ERP and integration landscape. You will design architectures, develop services and interfaces, and connect existing systems with modern technologies. Java and Spring Boot will continue to play an important role, but you will also take a technology-agnostic approach to assess when other languages ​​or frameworks are more suitable for a specific task.
• Another key focus is on quality and testing. Together with the team, you will develop scalable test strategies and ensure that AI-generated code is not only created quickly, but also secure, traceable, maintainable, and production-ready.
• You will work closely with the development team, the team leader, and relevant departments. This is not about disciplinary management, but rather about technical guidance, coaching, knowledge sharing, and a clear shared direction.

What makes you stand out

• Several years of experience in software development as well as a good understanding of modern software architectures, integrations and established system landscapes.
• Enthusiasm for AI-driven development and practical experience with AI coding tools, coding agents, or similar AI-supported development workflows.
• The ability to pragmatically evaluate new technologies, programming languages, and frameworks and use them appropriately for the respective task. Java and Spring Boot remain important components of our system landscape.
• Experience in establishing technical standards, architectural decisions, and new development methods within a development team and inspiring others to adopt them.
• Enjoyment of hands-on development and the willingness to stay involved in the code itself, rather than exercising technical responsibility solely through concepts or specifications.
• A good sense of people, clear communication, and the ability to bring together different perspectives within the team.
