Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

As a Lead Software Engineer, you will drive the design and delivery of innovative solutions across Origin Retail’s digital platforms, including MyAccount, Mobile App, Metering, and Customer Identity.
Leading a team of developers, you’ll enhance customer experience and operational efficiency while collaborating with stakeholders to align technology with business goals.
This role combines leadership, technical expertise, and a passion for advancing digital capabilities in a fast-paced, impactful environment.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Define and execute the vision and roadmap for Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM), ensuring alignment with business goals, customer needs, and industry trends.
  • Stay ahead of emerging CIAM trends and technologies, hosting workshops and promoting best practices to drive organizational innovation.
  • Lead strategic decisions to prioritize initiatives based on business value, feasibility, and customer impact while balancing immediate goals with long-term vision.
  • Mentor and develop a high-performing technical team, fostering innovation, ownership, and continuous learning.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders and stakeholders to align CIAM strategies with organizational objectives, translating complex technical concepts into actionable business strategies.
  • Establish and enforce best practices for secure, scalable CIAM systems, ensuring quality through test automation and robust design.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams, industry groups, and vendors to drive seamless customer identity experiences and remain competitive in the field.
