Your challenges

• Together with two other colleagues, you will act as Lead Engineer for a development team of approximately 20 people.

• You will be responsible for the professional and technical leadership of a team; you will directly manage up to five employees.

• You will develop robust backend solutions for sophisticated wealth management products and actively contribute to their architecture.

• You will establish new technical standards and ensure high-quality, sustainable software design in a regulated environment.

• You will structure complex professional and technical topics, define work packages effectively, and establish clear responsibilities.

• Initially, you will work extensively hands-on with the codebase; in the long term, the role will evolve to approximately 70% team leadership and 30% professional/technical work.

• You will foster the professional development of your team members and establish a constructive, learning-oriented engineering culture.

• You will strengthen our internal development capacity and contribute to delivering reliable software for long-term customer relationships.

This is what you bring with you

• Several years of experience in backend development with Python and Django.

• Solid knowledge of PostgreSQL and Redis, as well as experience with cloud-based architectures such as Microsoft Azure or AWS

. • A strong passion for good software design and enthusiasm for clean, maintainable solutions.

• Initial or demonstrable experience in technical or business leadership.

• Genuine interest in financial markets, investment, and wealth management – ​​so that you understand the perspective of our users and identify with the product in the long term.
