Design and implement scalable applications and microservices, ensuring maintainable and efficient code. Collaborate with Product and Development teams to build new features, solve complex technical problems, and optimize performance. Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance across projects. Apply best practices for coding, testing, and deployment to ensure reliable, high-quality solutions. Contribute to architectural decisions and help evolve the codebase for flexibility and long-term scalability. Requirements 5+ years of software development experience, preferably with Ruby on Rails. Strong object-oriented design and analysis skills. Experience building REST APIs and microservices. Solid understanding of common design patterns and application architecture. Experience with frontend frameworks such as React.js or similar, and CSS. Proficiency in MySQL and general database knowledge, including performance tuning and optimization. Demonstrated ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams and meet project deadlines. Strong communication skills and the ability to mentor and guide other engineers.
