We’re looking for an exceedingly versatile Lead Engineer to work in Risk Engineering development team. As a Lead Engineer in the team, you’ll be leading from front building engaging Risk Products, ensuring that we are using appropriate technologies and helping drive initiatives to bring customer value and efficiency in operation. You’ll work closely with architects ensuring technical choices are aligned with the overall architecture of our products. Mentoring members of the team also forms a crucial part of the role.

Main Responsibilities / Accountabilities:

  • Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable systems

• •Be responsible for the design of components, ensuring that they enforce to the application architecture.

  • Work with the team to ensure that code is developed to a high quality, evidenced through automated testing.
  • Review work of peers and more junior developers. Assist with improvements to prevent problems, including problem resolution workflow.
  • Participate in project planning sessions with team members to analyze development requirements, provide design options, and provide work breakdown and estimates of work.

Crucial Skills/Experience Required:

  • At least 10+ years of building and operating high throughput systems.
  • NET, C# and its ecosystem, Azure. React, Angular and Node for building multifaceted API and user interfaces.
  • Working with relational and graph databases, Familiar with RESTful interfaces and practical knowledge of various design patterns
  • Self-starter - does what it takes to get the job done, Excellent interpersonal skills, verbal and written.
  • Expertise in continuous build and deployment.
