Description
Squad Leadership & Deliver Oversight: Help the team manager to lead a development squad, ensuring delivery of the EMEA Client Money book of work, from requirements to production deployment. Oversee planning, sprint execution, and backlog management in collaboration with product owners. Hands-On Software Engineering: Design, implement and maintain scalable and robust software platforms using standard Java frameworks such as Spring Boot and Hibernate. Ensure production changes are thorough tested, documented and coordinated across dependent systems with minimal impact to users. Strong programming expertise in Java (7+), including a deep understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and concurrency. Extensive experience with Spring ecosystem. Familiar with data transformation frameworks, batch processing (e.g., Spring Batch). Solid foundation in SQL, relational databases (DB2) and ability to write complex queries. Experience in UI development with frameworks such as Angular and .NET Experience with managing release cycles, including CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation. Familiar with the firm's standard tooling (e.g., VMS, Train, AutoSDLC) Understanding of event-based architectures both point to point and subscription based. Effective communication and stakeholder management skills across technical and non-technical teams Strong analytical and design skills, including the ability to understand business requirements and translate them into efficient and effective technical designs that work well within large-scale, well-structured enterprise environments. Excellent trouble-shooting skills, with the ability to quickly identify and document the root cause of issues and effectively communicate possible resolutions.
