I’m working with a VC-backed, rapidly scaling AI start-up operating at the intersection of AI, robotics and real-world data. They’re building cutting-edge technology in a highly technical, fast-moving environment and are now looking to add a Lead Software Engineer to the team.

You’ll be around 80% hands-on, building and operating the backend services and tooling supporting AI/ML development, as well as software infrastructure connected to their robotics operations. Alongside the technical work, you’ll provide technical direction and support the wider engineering team, with some people management responsibility.

• The stack includes Python, FastAPI, PostgreSQL, Docker, Kubernetes and GCP, with exposure to ML models, distributed systems, REST APIs and CI/CD.
