POSITION DESCRIPTION:

We’re looking for a Lead Software Engineer to play a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of PAR’s hardware products. In this hybrid technical and leadership position, you’ll guide the team while staying hands-on in design, coding, and problem-solving. You’ll drive new product and feature development, support sustaining engineering, and integrate third-party solutions. Working in a SCRUM-based, high-reliability environment, you’ll champion formal development processes that ensure quality and repeatability. You’ll also represent the team in planning and project meetings, translating business goals into engineering outcomes, and keeping projects on track through clear execution, reporting, and continuous improvement.
