As a Lead Software Engineer, you will drive complex software projects from conception to delivery, providing technical leadership and mentoring to development teams. You will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to design, implement, and optimize scalable, high-quality software solutions across diverse technologies. Your expertise will guide architecture decisions, ensure best practices in code quality and security, and influence product outcomes. Accountabilities: Lead software development projects, providing technical guidance and making architecture and design decisions. Build high-quality, maintainable software collaboratively and incrementally, tailored to project needs. Integrate AI/ML-powered features, leveraging modern development tools for scaffolding, testing, debugging, and documentation. Ensure scalability, security, performance, and reliability across systems. Mentor team members, facilitate knowledge sharing, and support a collaborative work environment. Manage project roadmaps, backlogs, and timelines, coordinating with stakeholders to address blockers and deliver outcomes. Participate in client interactions to balance technical, product, and user requirements, communicating effectively and empathetically. 7+ years of software development experience, with a proven record of leading complex projects. Proficiency in Python, Java, JavaScript, React, and experience with DevOps, CI/CD, and version control (Git). Experience integrating AI/ML capabilities such as recommendation engines, NLP models, computer vision, or predictive analytics. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and refactor code for continuous improvement. Excellent collaboration, communication, and mentoring abilities. Comfortable in remote, distributed environments and adept at working across time zones. Bonus: experience with DevSecOps, MLOps, Infrastructure as Code, or data engineering.
