What You'll Do

• Design, build and enhance scalable, secure, cloud-native software solutions.
• Contribute to architecture and technical design decisions across a modern SaaS platform.
• Deliver high-quality solutions across backend services, APIs, integrations and web applications.
• Work across the full software development lifecycle, from design and development through to deployment and support.
• Collaborate with Product, Operations and broader business stakeholders to deliver practical, customer-focused outcomes.
• Mentor and support other engineers, sharing knowledge and helping uplift engineering capability across the team.
• Help drive best practices in software development, testing, automation and DevOps.
• Contribute to the reliability, performance and ongoing evolution of production systems.

You are curious, pragmatic and passionate about building high-quality software.You may already be working as a Lead Engineer, Technical Lead or Senior Engineer, or you may be looking for an opportunity to broaden your technical leadership responsibilities.

You'll Bring

• Strong experience developing and delivering modern SaaS applications.
• Commercial experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience designing and building RESTful APIs and distributed systems.
• Exposure to cloud-native development and AWS environments.
• An understanding of software architecture, design patterns and scalable application development.
• Experience mentoring, coaching or supporting other engineers.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience within RegTech, FinTech or other highly regulated environments will be highly regarded.
