Responsibilities

Key duties consist of:

  • Develop and deliver budget plans for own area with guidance from senior colleagues.
  • Identify shortcomings, suggests improvements and implements approved revisions to current compliance processes, systems and procedures within assigned unit and/or field.
  • Meet the needs of significant customers related to complex, often customised products and services and/or manages a customer advisor department over a significant area.
  • Takes responsibility for implementing a team’s formal development framework with guidance from senior colleagues, while informally coaching others throughout the organisation in area of expertise and pursuing and investing in opportunities for own personal development.
  • Develops and implements innovative business practices within own field, coordinating all aspects of the organization’s transformation program.
  • Takes responsibility for developing and delivering a key element of the organisation’s knowledge management system.
  • Builds complex frameworks to fully assess the scope and context of short-term and long-term business needs.
  • Manage the definition, development, and/or delivery of a significant product or service of the organisation’s development/engineering programme and offers to ensure alignment with customer requirements, and/or manages a medium-size product development/specialist team.
  • Develop new methods, tools and programmes for quality assurance while leading developmental initiatives and/or programmes within an area of expertise.
  • Provide improvements on short-term or long-term business performance by recommending authoritative technical and/or professional solutions.
  • Monitor and manages a wide range of activities ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements by liaising with all internal risk management functions while supporting the development and implementation of the organisation’s compliance policy.
  • Coordinate the development and/or delivery of a component of the organization’s long-term vision.
  • Develop tactical plans for optimisation of resources and assets being managed within a given area or department
