WHAT SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE WILL YOU NEED?

• Leading the architecture design of Enterprise scale, Human Capital Management (HCM), Financial, Commercial, or Estates solutions, typically as implementation of Software-as-a-Service solutions.
• Micro-service and API-led architecture design.
• Event-based architecture design and patterns.
• Public cloud technologies and design patterns.
• Presenting to technical governance forums.
• Engaging and influencing senior stakeholders.

YOU AND YOUR ROLE

As a Lead Solutions Architect, you will be at the forefront of our solutions architecture innovations, supporting, guiding and coaching a team of solutions architects.
Together you will design, maintain and modernise systems that enable millions of citizens to access and use essential DWP services.
You will be working closely the head of role and engaging with senior stakeholders to advise on architecture design strategy and steer the capability, championing best practice and innovation in the architecture and wider digital community.
You are a champion solution communication, making the complex simple to understand.
You communicate consistent solution views that describe the construction of the solution to all stakeholders.
