This position requires office presence of a minimum of 5 days per week and is only located in the location(s) posted. No relocation is offered.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) desired.
• 5+ years of related experience required.
• Certification is required in some areas.

OVERALL PURPOSE

Optimizes procurement strategies by managing, negotiating, monitoring, and sourcing contracts to ensure cost-effective and efficient supply chain operations.

KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Typical tasks may include, but are not limited to, the following:

• CONTRACT NEGOTIATION AND MANAGEMENT:Lead negotiations for contracts. Manage contract modifications and ensure compliance with terms and conditions, aligning with organizational goals.
• PROCUREMENT STRATEGY DEVELOPMENT:Formulate and implement comprehensive procurement strategies to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness, including market research and sourcing new suppliers.
• Management:
• Manage relationships. Assess performance and handle commercial contract issues, including licensing agreements, invoicing, and receivables.
• RISK MANAGEMENT AND COMPLIANCE:Identify potential supply chain risks, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure all procurement activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and corporate policies.
• PERFORMANCE MONITORING AND PROCESS IMPROVEMENT:Continuously monitor procurement performance metrics, prepare reports for strategic decision-making, and identify and implement process improvements to enhance procurement efficiency and effectiveness.
