Manage the buying process for a given set of goods. Apply sourcing policy, interface between supplier and entity with respect to specifications and budgets. Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market

• Roles and Responsibilities
• Manages relationships with suppliers for Purchase Order execution and follows-up on Purchase Orders.
• Manages problems and schedule changes.
• Updates ERP.
• Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience.
• May lead small projects with low risks and resource requirements.
• Explains information, developing skills to bring team members to consensus around topics within field.
• Conveys performance expectations and may handle sensitive issues.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college and 3 years of Military Procurement, Commercial Operations, Sourcing/Procurement, Supplier Relationship Management, Sales, Supply Chain and/or Contract Management roles or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in Military Procurement, Commercial Operations, Sourcing/Procurement, Supplier Relationship Management, Sales, Supply Chain and/or Contract Management roles
  NOTE: Military experience is equivalent to professional experience.
