Partner with the best As a Lead Sourcing Specialist, you will negotiate with dedicated providers according to specific policies. You will ensure to achieve the best contractual conditions while also ensuring internal customer satisfaction. This position is open for pipelining purposes for an expected opening As a Lead Sourcing Specialist, you will be responsible for: Manage all RFQs for a manufacturing or service site. Getting competitive offers while achieving the defined Deflation KPIs. Contribute in executing and implementation of Sourcing defined strategy for each commodity or Supplier. Work towards achieving specific defined KPIs set by product line. Define supplier strategy including management and optimization of supplier panels. Lead negotiations and allocate needs to specific suppliers. Negotiate terms and conditions and transmit information to Procurement. Manage claims. Includes commercial sourcing management such as data analysis, negotiations support, etc. This may also include purchasing activities. Detects and signals flaws in approaches, methods, procedures and processes and suggests improvements. Handles communication with direct colleagues and the business about data gathering and analysis. Negotiating best cost & delivery, with suppliers; place and follow up on PO’s for assigned commodities. Managing effective working relationships with suppliers for PO execution. Managing problems and schedule changes to ensure on time delivery. Updating ERP to ensure accurate planning. Developing new solutions under guidance and/or in a team setting. Balancing both tactical execution with strategic initiatives necessary to drive cost and lead time reduction. Working together with high level individuals within the business. Working with Commodity Buyers on technical and commercial developments to develop awareness of manufacturing processes and improve product knowledge Fuel your passion To be successful in this role you will: Have Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college. (Engineering is preferred). Have a minimum of 6 years of experience in sourcing/procurement in the oil and gas industry. Knowledge of Ariba and SAP is an advantage. Have strong oral and written communication as well as interpersonal and leadership skills. Have the ability to lead initiatives of moderate scope and impact. Have effective problem identification and solution skills as well as proven analytical and organizational ability.
