Partner with the best The Supplier Quality Engineer is responsible to manage any technical/quality aspect related to supplier’s delivered products. All activities have tight relationship with other functions, i.e. Engineering, Manufacturing and Logistic. Main goal is to continuously improve the supplier’s quality level, reducing both escaping defects and associated cost of quality, while growing and developing the supply base as per business needs. Key Responsibilities Managing supplier’s related Non-Conformity Record (NCR). Leading the suppliers in the execution of defects root cause analysis (RCA) and support the definition of robust corrective actions (CA). Qualifying the suppliers according to company rules. Carrying out periodic audits to verify compliance with company requirements. Checking the on the job inspections according to the Quality Control Plans. Supporting the suppliers on Deviation Request (SDR) management. Supporting cross-functional initiatives to improve Suppliers Quality Fuel your passion Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering or equivalent work experience in one or more of the following industrial processes: fabrication and machining (as a minimum), casting and forging Technical knowledge of the following areas: welding (SMAW-FCAW, MIG, MAG, TIG), NDTs (VT, PT, MT, RX, UT), basics of metallurgy and metallography, heat treatment (QHT, PWHT) and CNC machining Ability to read and understand technical drawings and product specifications Structured data driven mindset and zero-defect Quality thinking Fluent in English and Italian as a minimum Attitude to set aggressive targets and change status quo. Effective problem-solving abilities Availability to travel frequently.
