This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Lead/Staff Full Stack Engineer, AI Platform & Agents in United States or Canada. In this role, you will lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable AI platforms and agent-based solutions, enabling rapid innovation across multiple industries such as healthcare, legal, tax, and compliance. You will work on high-impact projects that directly influence critical decision-making processes, collaborating with product, UX, and domain experts to deliver reliable and secure AI systems. This position offers the opportunity to shape platform capabilities, drive technical excellence, and mentor other engineers while working in a remote-first, highly autonomous, and fast-paced environment. Your contributions will directly improve the performance, safety, and usability of AI agents relied upon by thousands of users globally. Accountabilities: Design and implement full-stack applications, AI agents, and platform components that support rapid AI agent development, validation, and deployment. Build developer tooling, CI/CD pipelines, and observability features for safe, high-velocity iteration. Apply secure SDLC practices, privacy-by-design principles, and threat modeling across all development activities. Collaborate with product, UX, and domain teams to ensure customer-focused solutions with measurable impact. Lead engineering best practices through high-quality, maintainable code and mentorship. Apply current LLM patterns, retrieval techniques, and agent orchestration methods to deliver reliable and efficient AI solutions. Monitor platform performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency, implementing improvements as needed. 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with full-stack development and cloud (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Expertise in at least one of the following: AI agent development, backend or frontend engineering, cloud services, CI/CD, SRE, quality engineering, or secure SDLC. Proven experience delivering secure, cloud-native systems to production. Strong problem-solving skills, ownership mentality, and cross-functional communication abilities. Proficiency in programming languages such as TypeScript, Node.js, React, Python, or Rust. Familiarity with containerization, infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, GitHub Actions), and cloud-native AI tools. Nice to have: experience taking AI agents from concept to production, LangChain/LangGraph, RAG/vector systems, LLM tuning, and regulatory compliance frameworks (SOC2, HIPAA).
