Get to Know Your Team: The University of Kansas Health System St. Francis Campus, a part of a rich legacy of compassionate care since 1909, now offers 378 licensed beds, a history of innovation, and strong community support. Responsibilities Provide quality processed and sterilized instrumentation and supplies throughout the hospital, following regulatory guidelines and departmental procedures. Assuring suitable delivery of instrumentation to all departments serviced. Support and promote departmental priorities with respect to personal and patient safety. Effectively organize activities in a time efficient manner to ensure the delivery of care is proficient. Comprehend and complete regulatory record-keeping as set by departmental policies. Qualifications Job Requirements: High school or equivalent education. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a Central Sterile Processing Setting. Must be able to lead team members successfully in a high stress environment. CBSPD certification or equivalent for Sterile Instrument Processing. Must be completed no more than one year after date of hire. Preferred Job Requirements: Surgical instrumentation is preferred.
